The Knickerbocker 50 Mile and 8 Hour MTB Race is October 16th, 2010 in Cool, California.
8 Hour race field limit: 200 racers
50 Mile Race field limit: 100
There must be 5 people in a catagory to make an awards class.

Location
The race will be held on the Olmstead Loop in Cool, California.

Registration
Online registration for the event is currently unavailable. http://www.bikereg.com/events/register.asp?eventid=10359. Online registration closes at 11:59pm EST. (8:59pm PST “California Time”)

Refunds are not available 60 days prior to any Global Biorhythm event. Transfers can be made up to two weeks before the start of the event – late transfers will cost $15.00 each.

Race Info & Course
Registration and pre-race registration will be available at Auburn Bike Works, 350 Grass Valley Hwy. in Auburn, Ca. 95603 on Friday October 15th, 2010 from 10:00AM to 5:00PM. Race day registration will be open from 7:00AM to 8:30AM.

Racers meeting at 8:30AM. All races starts at 9:00AM SHARP!! (No BS!! Jim started the 2009 Tahoe-Sierra 100/50 at 6:59AM) 

This course is 12.4 miles with 1750ft of climbing per lap. Racers will be riding clockwise, staging in the parking area behind the firehouse. One aid station will be provided around the halfway point. Click here for course map: http://trail.motionbased.com/trail/activity/7906683

Miscellaneous Information
Gas, Banks and Stores can be found in the town of Cool, California. There is no lodging in Cool, but lodging can be found in Auburn, California (approx 10 miles from the event). There will be tandem and unicycle categories, but due to the lack of registrations, there will be no Tandem World Championships.
